License terms
Read each tier before purchase. The checkout session applies to the license you select on each beat. For custom agreements, contact the team through the contact page or support inbox.
Licensor: Beat licenses on The Sound Store are offered by Valleytainment Productions LLC (producer credit: Valleytainment). Your downloadable PDF agreement controls if anything here differs.
Basic license
The Basic tier grants a non-exclusive license to use the purchased beat in limited commercial and non-commercial projects, subject to the caps below.
- One Work; up to 25,000 cumulative audio streams.
- Up to 2,500 paid downloads or physical units.
- Up to 100,000 cumulative monetized video / social views.
- One official music video; live performances permitted.
- No TV, film, game, paid brand ad, or third-party sync without separate clearance.
- MP3 + WAV delivery only; no stems, no Content ID, no resale of the instrumental.
This summary is for convenience. The downloadable PDF agreement in your delivery package controls if anything here differs.
Premium license
The Premium tier expands usage rights for serious releases. Still non-exclusive unless a separate buyout is signed.
- One Work; up to 250,000 cumulative audio streams.
- Up to 25,000 paid downloads or physical units.
- Up to 1,000,000 cumulative monetized video / social views.
- Official music video and promotional edits permitted; DSP distribution allowed.
- Stems / trackouts only when explicitly listed in the order package.
- No TV, film, game, paid brand ad, or third-party sync without separate clearance.
Verify the exact contract PDF attached to your purchase before distribution.
Delivery, retention & retrieval fees
- Buyers receive signed download links for both the beat audio and the license PDF immediately on the payment-success page and in the delivery email.
- The same links are available on the buyer's library page for the entire 30-day window.
- After the window closes, original masters and contract PDFs are not guaranteed to remain in active storage. Please save copies locally as soon as possible.
- A flat $25 USD retrieval fee is charged for any replacement copy issued after the window. Email team@valleytainment.com with your Stripe receipt to request a paid retrieval.
Retrieval is best-effort and assumes the original masters can be recovered from archive. Valleytainment Productions LLC reserves the right to decline retrieval if archive storage no longer contains the asset.
Exclusive license
The Exclusive tier is a buyout. After verified payment, the beat is marked SOLD and removed from sale to new buyers.
- Unlimited streams, downloads, units, monetized videos, and live performance.
- Reserved producer rights survive (e.g. demo / portfolio / instrumental compilations) per the PDF.
- Beat is removed from active sales inventory after payment verification.
- No additional non-exclusive licenses are sold by Licensor after exclusive checkout.
- Producer publishing share is finalized in your Order Confirmation or rider.
Important: Exclusive rights become fully effective only after Licensor countersignature in writing. Your auto-delivered PDF is the agreed master template; we will email a countersigned copy back, typically within 1 business day. Until countersignature, treat the exclusive grant as pending.
The signed contract PDF controls legal terms if any summary line differs.
